Canada Post To Honor More Canadian Recording Artists
Canada Post will be issuing a series of postage stamps, prepaid post cards and limited edition frame prints dedicated to Canadian recording artists The Guess Who, Beau Dommage, Rush and The Tragically Hip on July 19th, 2013.
These collectibles are available for pre-order and previous collectibles for Bryan Adams, Edith Butler, Robert Charlebois, Stompin’ Tom Connors, Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Bruce Cockburn, Robbie Robertson, Ginette Reno, Paul Anka and Joni Mitchell remain available at their online store.

Rush has been nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. And fans have been asked to vote this year !
I’ve voted for Rush and Heart, of course. And when I did Rush was in the lead whilst Heart was at the third position.
Congratulations To Rush
Rush will be awarded the Governor’s General Performing Arts Awards for Lifetime Artistic Achievement this year, at a ceremony here in Ottawa on May 4th.
The trio will receive a commemorative medal struck by the Canadian Mint at Rideau Hall from his Excellency, the Right Honourable David Johnson, in celebration of their 40+ year career.
