It’s Star Wars Day and you’ll be able to find special deals on Star Wars merchandise and soundtracks today, including vinyl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

My very favorite Star Wars soundtrack is of course the Original soundtrack for Return of the Jedi<\/a>, which was recently re-released on vinyl both individually and in a 11 LP boxed set<\/a> that includes all of the soundtracks. <\/p>\n

This vinyl re-release includes the original four-page photo insert. But if you prefer compact discs, a boxed set<\/a> including this re-release was also made available, with a DVD featuring the “Musical Journey” documentary hosted by actor Ian McDiarmid (Chancellor Palpatine) and a bonus CD containing interviews with composer John Williams and actor Harrison Ford.<\/p>\n

The “Musical Journey” DVD, which also features music videos set to 16 of John William’s themes, was originally released with the soundtrack<\/a> for “Star Wars: Episode III \u2013 Revenge of the Sith”, which is still available from Amazon.ca<\/a> and Amazon.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n
