And Landmark is charging an online ticket fee on online purchases as of September 30th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>$1.50 on tickets purchased via <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.landmarkcinemas.com\" target=\"_blank\">landmarkcinemas.com<\/a> but if you join their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landmarkcinemas.com\/extras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Landmark Extra<strong>s<\/strong><\/a> program it&#8217;ll be $1 per ticket up to a maximum of $4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This mirrors <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cineplex.com\" target=\"_blank\">Cineplex<\/a>&#8216;s online ticket fee, which was introduced in June 2022, and is also $1.50 per online ticket purchase but reduced for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sceneplus.ca\" target=\"_blank\">Scene+<\/a> members to $1 per ticket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/competition-bureau\/news\/2023\/05\/competition-bureau-sues-cineplex-for-allegedly-advertising-misleading-ticket-prices.html\" target=\"_blank\">Competition Bureau<\/a> had sued Cineplex in May 2023 but I guess it wasn&#8217;t successful.
