{"id":7012,"date":"2026-02-10T20:18:01","date_gmt":"2026-02-11T01:18:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.musicbymailcanada.com\/blog\/?p=7012"},"modified":"2026-02-10T20:23:37","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T01:23:37","slug":"major-events-this-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.musicbymailcanada.com\/blog\/?p=7012","title":{"rendered":"Major Events This Weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>There are two major events this weekend, including a record convention on Sunday in Burlington, Ontario and a weekend long fan expo in Vancouver, British Columbia featuring appearances by the stars of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/apple.co\/4auE5u5\" target=\"_blank\">Lord of the Rings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/apple.co\/4r8TdUW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Twilight<\/a> films. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Burlington Pop-Up Record Show<\/strong> will be held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/haltonnavalveteransassociation.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Halton Naval Veterans Association<\/a> on Sunday, the 15th of February from 10 am to 4pm and admission will be a donation to the association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><center><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d2901.1382011401865!2d-79.80852689999999!3d43.353219700000004!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x882b61ea8d70062b%3A0x68900fbd07d16330!2sHalton%20Naval%20Veterans%20Association!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sca!4v1770770109202!5m2!1sen!2sca\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The nearest bus stops to the venue, stop numbers <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/JVeuNHss6ZsJ8vgB8\" target=\"_blank\">204<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/nD2sFhPG21u7tsmp7\" target=\"_blank\">207<\/a>, are a six minute walk away and are serviced by <strong>Route 3 and 6<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burlington.ca\/en\/transit\/transit.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Burlington Transit<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fanexpohq.com\/fanexpovancouver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fan Expo Vancouver<\/a> will be hosted by the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouverconventioncentre.com\" target=\"_blank\">Vancouver Convention Center<\/a> from Friday, February 14th to Monday, the 16th, 2026.
