But some of these are major events:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ai-kon.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ai-con<\/a> will be a weekend long anime event from Friday the 17th to Sunday the 19th, 2026 at the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wcc.mb.ca\" target=\"_blank\">RBC Convention Center<\/a> in Winnipeg, MB and admission information can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tix123.com\/tickets\/?code=AIKON26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">clicking here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><center><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d2570.5683176803236!2d-97.1442412!3d49.88813280000001!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x52ea71564eaa1bb1%3A0x230331c90a346deb!2sRBC%20Convention%20Centre%20Winnipeg!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sca!4v1784098428409!5m2!1sen!2sca\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The nearest bus stops to the venue are <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/yNrrZ3HFUpn7KuS78\" target=\"_blank\">10586<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/rDbi9uSq759LPBZt5\" target=\"_blank\">10593<\/a>, which are serviced by <strong>Routes D14 and D15<\/strong> on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.winnipegtransit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Winnipeg Transit<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fanaticcon.ca\/ottawa\" target=\"_blank\">Fanaticcon Ottawa 2026<\/a> will be held at the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ottawaconferenceandeventcentre.com\" target=\"_blank\">Ottawa Conference and Event Centre<\/a> on Saturday, July 18th, 2026 from 11am to 4pm and admission will be $20 (cash at entry) with kids under 12 getting in for free, or $25 for early VIP entry at 10am. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><center><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d2801.7703606045966!2d-75.6563446!3d45.420912!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x4cce05799366c5db%3A0x5fdd386ace4a15a4!2sOttawa%20Conference%20and%20Event%20Centre!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sca!4v1784097328963!5m2!1sen!2sca\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The venue is serviced by <strong>Bus Route 9<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.octranspo.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OC Transpo<\/a>, from bus stop numbers <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/oRcHhdUz3ppSzgHv7\" target=\"_blank\">7080<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/wD2V9mM7oZ2mdaQA8\" target=\"_blank\">7081<\/a>. And the venue is also a 10 minute walk away from the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.octranspo.com\/en\/our-services\/stations-2\/tremblay1\" target=\"_blank\">Tremblay<\/a> light rail station and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.viarail.ca\/en\/explore-our-destinations\/stations\/ontario\/ottawa\" target=\"_blank\">Ottawa Via Rail<\/a> train station, via the <strong>Max Keeping Pedestrian Bridge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">&#8212;  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/prl.ab.ca\/ponoka\/services\/fanfest\" target=\"_blank\">Central Alberta Fanfest 2006<\/a> will also be held on the 18th of July but at the <strong>Ponoka Jubilee Library<\/strong> and this appears to be a free event.
