| Platinum Blonde will be playing the 149th Carp Fair, in Carp, Ontario. They will hit the stage on Sunday, September the 23rd, in the afternoon at 1 pm. Tickets are $10 at the gate. The Dave Barrett Trio have also announced an upcoming gig, On June 21st at The Mod Club in Toronto. They'll be on stage at 10:30 PM and tickets are $15 at the door. |

These bands include Chalk Circle, Maestro Fresh Wes, Modern Superstitions, Rik Emmett of Triumph, San Sebastian, and more. Toronto Police (at 51 division) have confirmed that he was found "collapsed and unresponsive" at 1 pm today at his Toronto apartment by his sister. Official confirmations regarding the alledged cause of his death have yet to be released. Kenny Maclean had just released his third solo album, entitled "Completely", on Friday. He had celebrated the album's released with a performance at The Mod Club, a venue co-owned by Mark Holmes, another former Platinum Blonde. |
