| David and Sasha have founded a new band, The David Barrett Trio, along with Jason Farrar. And the trio have a gig at The Gibson Guitar Artist Showroom on Thursday October 7th, 2010 at 7pm. The venue is located in Toronto, at 1205 King St. W. and tickets go for $10 at the door. |

| Upon hearing that Platinum Blonde would be inducted in the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Hall of Fame last month I sent an email to Sony asking them if the DVD would finally be released. I haven't had a reply so I'm guessing they are still thinking about it or the email was lost. So I decided to write them again today in the hopes to get a response and will post this response here. Dead Arm", has been released. And a CD release concert will be held at Whistler's in Toronto, at 995 Broadview Avenue, on
Wednesday, January the 20th, 2010 at 8pm. Tickets for the event can be purchased from fingerstyleguitar.ca, where a review of the CD can be found, and the album can be purchased on CD or MP3 at CD Baby. |

| Citynews, AM640 News and Jam Showbiz have reported that Kenny Maclean has died today, claiming that
Toronto Police (at 51 division) have confirmed that he was found "collapsed and unresponsive" at 1 pm today at his Toronto apartment by his sister. Official confirmations regarding the alledged cause of his death have yet to be released. Kenny Maclean had just released his third solo album, entitled "Completely", on Friday. He had celebrated the album's released with a performance at The Mod Club, a venue co-owned by Mark Holmes, another former Platinum Blonde. |

at the same time. By the way, if you don't already know, Magic Roundabout's video was added to YouTube by David, on his account. You'll notice that he added several of his solo videos on there too. And yes, I do have an account on there too, under the name Canucktunes. | ||||

| Scheduling conflicts have unfortunately resulted in the cancelation of the reunion tour, according to the official forum at platinumblonde.ca. It had been delayed into the new year but no dates had been finalized. But a reunion tour could always be a possibility in the near future, the recent reunion concert for charity having been a success. | ||||
