Sad News From The Tragically Hip
The Tragically Hip issued an official notice via their web site saying lead singer Gord Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Their upcoming summer tour will therefore be their Farewell Tour.

You may have noticed the sporadic posts in 2011. Well, that’s because I’ve been taking care of my mother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier that year.
The chemotherapy, surgery and radiation were successful but other issues have popped up this month so I may again be posting sporadically until these are resolved.
