Upcoming Record Conventions
There will be a convention in St.John’s, Newfoundland this weekend:
- Sunday, Nov 7th 2021 – St.John’s Farmer’s Market (245, Freshwater Road, St.John’s NFLD) – 10am to 4pm – $2 admission
Masks will be required and cash is recommended because many vendors will not take credit cards.
Please note that the Oshawa Record convention that was scheduled to been held at Lviv Hall on November 14th, 2021 has been delayed until February 27th, 2022, unfortunately.

Blue Door at your Door 2021
Hosted by Tom Green, this charity event will air live on CTV Ottawa and Youtube on November 6th, 2021 and feature performances by Blue Rodeo, Bruce Cockburn, Sam Roberts Band, Alan Doyle, Lindsay Ell, Miss Emily (Featuring Rob Baker & Gord Sinclair of The Tragically Hip) and Ottawa’s own, Juno Award Winner Kellylee Evans.
Greyhound Canada Is Gone
Greyhound Canada is halting all of their operations today, eight years short of their 100th anniversary.
Tourists and concert-goers will now need to use alternative modes of traffic within Canada but will still be able to use Greyhound USA’s services for the following routes when the border opens:
Toronto to New York – Toronto to Buffalo – Montreal to New York – Montreal to Boston – Vancouver to Seattle
Other carriers are expecting to step up for the popular routes and Via Rail is available to some.
