The first live album I ever purchased was “Tribute”, which was dedicated to the late, great Rhandy Roads, who passed away in a plane crash in 1982. And I have been buying Ozzy’s albums since, for decades, and have several of his video compilations and live DVDs.
He was a brilliant and original vocalist and composer. And Mercury Studios have issue a statement saying his last performance, which was filmed in Birmingham on July 5th, will be released in a 100 minute theatrical film entitled “Back to the Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow” and eventually on blu-ray/4k.
No release dates have been published but I will definitely be purchasing this recording.
