Four Record Conventions / Three Comicons

Ontario will be the place to be for event this weekend, except for two, which will happen in Edmonton and Vancouver.

The Crystal Ridge Dream Center will host the 2nd Annual Charity Record Show on May 30th, 2026 from 9am to 1pm and admission will be $2.

A On Demand transit service may be available from the Fort Erie Leisureplex on Niagara Transit.

The Huron County Comicon will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at Columbus Club Hall from 11am to 4pm and admission will be free.

There is unfortunately no transit to the area at the time of this event.

The Smiths Fall Comicon will be held at the Smith Falls Memorial Community Center from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, the 30th of May, 2026 and admission will be $10 at the door (or $5 online), with kids under 12 getting in for free.

This venue is an 18 minute walk away from the town’s Via Rail Station.

The Dead Vinyl Society Spring Record G-Sale & DJ Raveyard will be held on both the 30th and 31st of May, 2026, from 11am to 6pm open both days, and entry will be free.

The nearest bus stops to this venue are bus stop numbers 2753 and 2859 which is serviced by Bus Route 523 on Edmonton Transit.

The Bowmanvillle CD and Record Show will again be hosted by the Bowmanville Memorial Park Club House, this time from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, May 31st, 2026, and admission is free.

The nearest bus stop to the venue is Bus Stop 1499 which is serviced by route 902 on Durham Region Transit and an on demand service may be available.

The MacKinnon Brothers Vinyl Record Market will be held from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, the 31st of May, 2026 at the MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Company and admission is free.

There is no public transit to this venue.

The Gananoque Comicon will be held at the Lou Jeffries, Gananoque & T.L.T.I Recreation Centre from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, May 31st, 2026 and admission will be $10 at the door (or $5 online), with kids under 12 getting in for free.

The venue is an 18 minute walk away from the Flixbus stop.

And last but not least, the Vancouver Vinyl Record Show will again be hosted by the Heritage Hall, this time from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, the 31st of May, 2026. And admission will be $5 at the door.

One Comic Book Show, Two Record Shows

There will be three events this weekend, a comic book show in Calgary on Saturday and two record shows in Ontario on Sunday.

The Calgary Comic Book Show will be held at the Acadia Recreation Complex from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, the 7th of March, 2026. And admission is free.

The nearest bus stops to the venue are bus stop numbers 6414 and 6447, which are serviced by Route 99 from the Heritage LRT Station by Calgary Transit.

The Newmarket Vinyl Record & Collectibles Show will be hosted by the Newmarket Legion on Sunday, March 8th, 2026 from 10am to 3pm. And admission will be $5.

The nearest bus stops to this venue are bus stop numbers 2060 and 2074, a six minute walk straight down to the other end of Muriel Street. A trip planner can be found on the York Region Transit site.

The Bowmanvillle CD and Record Show will again be held at the Bowmanville Memorial Park Club House from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, the 8th of March 2026. And admission will be free.

The nearest bus stop, stop number 1499, is an 8 minute walk away from the venue and is next to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.

Record Conventions Galore!

There will be multiple record conventions and one comicons this weekend, in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec:

The Vinyl in the Valley Collector Show will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2025 at the Vernon Elks Lodge from 10am to 3pm and admission is $5 or $10 for early entry at 9am.

The venue is located next to the Downtown Exchange for public transit, where multiple routes on the Vernon Regional Transit converge.

The Collingwood Comicon will also be held on Saturday, the 18th of October, 2025 from 10am to 3pm. But it will be hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63 and admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under.

The venue has two bus stops, 243 and 420, which is serviced by the Crosstown route on Collingwood Transit – This is an On Demand service on weekends.

The Foire Au Vinyles Plateau Record Show will again be held at the Église Saint-Denis on Saturday, the 18th of October, from 10am to 4pm, and admission will be $5 to $10 for early entry at 9am.

The venue, whose entry is at 5075 rue Rivard, is conveniently located next to the Édicule B entrance/exit of the Laurier Metro Station.

The Boogie Record Fair and Market will be held at Boogie on Queen on Sunday, the 19th of October, 2025, from 1pm to 5pm. And admission will be free.

This venue is serviced by multiple trams and busses on the TTC from stop numbers 6838 and 15348.

The Calgary Music Collectors Show will again be hosted by the Acadia Recreation Complex, this time on Sunday, the 19th of October, 2025 from 11am to 4pm, and admission will be $5 or 10 for early admission at 9:30am.

The nearest bus stops to the venue are 6414 and 6447, and these are serviced by Route 99 on Calgary Transit.

The Bowmanvillle CD and Record Show will be held at the event’s regular venue, the Bowmanville Memorial Park Club House, from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, and admission will be free.

This venue is now now only being serviced by Bus Stop 100157, which is a 12 minute walk away from the venue, but by on demand services at Durham Regional Transit. And Go Transit also now operates from that stop.

The Newmarket Vinyl Record & Collectibles Show will also be held on Sunday, the 19th of October 2025, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 426 from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $5.

The nearest York Regional Transit bus stops, 2060 and 2075, which are a six unite walk away, are serviced by Route 056.

The Sarnia Record Show will again be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62, this time from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, October 19th, 2025 and admission will be a Toonie donation to the Legion.

The venue is a six minute walk away from the Bayside Terminal, which is serviced by multiple major routes on Sarnia Transit, as well as Strathroy-Caradoc Inter-Community Transit and Flixbus.

A major record sale will be occurring at the Kingston Symphony Warehouse this weekend as well, starting on the Tuesday, the 16th of October, 2025.

They will be selling vinyl, cds, DVDs and turntables, including some rarer items in the Platinum Lounge. But it is at a rather out of the way location, the nearest bus stops being a 15 minute walk away on Princess Drive; These are serviced by Route 4 and Route 11 on Kingston Transit and you should note that Route 11 terminates at the Via Rail station.

This Weekend – Comicons & Record Conventions

The weekend starts off with the multiple day Ottawa Comicon from the 5th to the 7th at the EY Center, near the Ottawa International Airport and next to the Uplands LRT station.

The next event is again a comicon, the Barrie Comicon, from 10am to 3pm, on Saturday, the 6th of September, 2025 at the Eastview Arena. And admission is $5 or free for kids 12 and under.

The nearest bus stops to the venue are numbers 407 and 409, which are serviced by Bus Routes 8A and 101 on Barrie Transit.

The Hamilton Record Show will be held at Bridgework from 10:30am to 4pm on Saturday as well, and admission is $5 or $20 for early admission at 9am.

The venue is a twelve minute walk away from the West Harbour Go Station or eight minute walk from Bus Stop 2977 which is serviced by Bus Routes 08 and 09 on HSR.

Graffiker Alley, “The Festival of Self-Published Comics, Manga and Zines”, will also be held on Saturday, at the Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga, from 11am to 5pm, with free admission.

The venue is a fifteen minute walk away from the Long Branch Go Station and Long Branch Loop on the TTC. Or you can take Bus Route 31 on Miway Transit from either to the nearest bus stops to the venue, 0408 or 0443, which are also serviced by Bus Route 23.

The Dorchester Record & CD Sale will occur on Sunday, the 7th of September, 2025 at the Dorchester Legion from 10am to 3pm. And admission is a donation to the Legion.

This venue is not serviced by public transit.

The Bowmanvillle CD and Record Show is also a free event, at it will be held on Sunday, the 7th of September, 2025 at the Bowmanville Memorial Park Club House from 10am to 4pm.

Note that this venue is located near Exit 432 on Highway 401. And the nearest bus stop to the venue, stop number 1499, is an eight minute walk away and it is serviced by Route 902 on Durham Region Transit, whose site does have a trip planner.

Two Record Conventions and One Comicon

There will be two free record conventions in the Toronto Area, one comicon in Belleville, and all of this weekend’s events will be occurring on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025:

The Outdoor Record Show will be held at the Tranzac Club from 9am to 1pm and admission will be free.

This venue is a seven minute walk from either the Bathurst Subway Station or Spadina Subway Station and it is also a minute away from bus stop numbers 498 and 499, whose busses also service the 511 streetcar on Bathurst via stops 96 and 15518.

The Bowmanvillle CD and Record Show will be hosted by the Memorial Park Clubhouse from 10am to 4pm and this is also a free event.

The nearest bus stop to the venue, stop number 1499, is an eight minute walk away. And it is serviced by Route 902 on Durham Region Transit, whose site does have a trip planner.

The Belleville Comicon will be held at the Quinte Curling Club from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under.

A bus stop serviced by Route 8 on Belleville Transit is across the street from the venue.

Two Comic Conventions This Weekend.

There will be two comicons this weekend, in Ontario:

The first will be the Newmarket ComiCon, which will be held on Saturday, February the 1st, 2025 at the Optimist Youth Centre from 10am to 3pm.

Admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under. And the nearest bus stops are #6895 and #9851, which are serviced by Bus Route 033 and Yellow Rapid Transit on York Regional Transit.

The second will be the Bowmanville ComiCon, on Sunday, the 2nd of February, 2025 from 10am to 3pm at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex.

Admission will also be $5 or free for kids 12 and under. And the nearest bus stops are 93733 and 93734 for bus routes 502 and 902 on Durham Region Transit. This venue is also serviced by GO Transit with Route 88 via Bus Stops #100520 and #100716.
