Multiple Major Events This Weekend

There will be multiple day comicon and fan events this weekend, as well as two record conventions.

Howloween 2025 will begin on Thursday the 23rd, 2025 and end on the 26th at the Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC.

This venue is near the airport and serviced by Routes 401 and 407 on Translink, this venue having it’s own bus stop (56483).

The Winnipeg Comicon will run from on Friday, October 24th to Sunday, October 26th, 2025 at the RBC Convention Center and you can obtain ticket information by clicking here.

The venue is located in the core and therefore surrounded by multiple bus stops serviced by Winnipeg Transit, the closest being on Broadway Street (Stop Numbers 10593 and 10586).

Frightmare In The Falls will be a two day event, starting from Saturday, the 25th of October 2025, that will be hosted by the Niagara Falls Convention Center. And admission information can be found by clicking here.

This downtown venue is serviced by multiple routes via bus stop numbers 6152 and 8434 on Niagara Falls Transit.

The Simcoe Record & CD Show will be held on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 79 from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $2.

This venue is a five animate walk from the Simcoe Library Bus Stop, which is service by the Brampton route on Norfolk County Public Transit. Ask for stop S1a if you are using On Demand Transit, as it is at the venue itself.

The Toronto Downtown Record Show will again be occurring at the Tranzak Club, this time on Sunday, the 26th of October 2025 from noon to 4pm. And admission will be $7 or $20 for early entry at 10am.

This venue is a six minute walk away from Bathurst Station, where Streetcar Route 511 also terminates.

The London Record Show will be held at the lower level of Centennial Hall on Sunday, October 26th, 2025 from 11am to 5pm and admission will be $5.

This centrally coated venue has multiple bus stops on London Transit, the closest being at London City Hall, which is serviced by Route 1.

Warped on Scene – Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls Festival & Record Show, a.k.a Warped on Scene, will be held from 1pm to 6pm at Taps Brewhouse and tickets are $5 per person (click here to purchase online).

The nearest bus stops to the venue are stop numbers 6003 and 6186, which is serviced by multiple routes on Niagara Transit and the venue is a 10 minute walk away from the Niagara Falls Via Rail and Go Train station. And yes, you can take Route 204 from the Bus Terminal next to these train stations to this event, which will also feature concerts from 20 hard rock or metal bands until 11pm.

New Yorkers from Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse should note that they will be able to attend using Amtrak’s “Maple Leaf” service.

One Record Show But Four Comicon & More

Although there will only be one record show this weekend, there will be four comicons and a collectibles show. And two of these events will be weekend long.

The first three day event will be Y-CON at the Yarmouth Mariners Center from May 30th to June 1st, 2025.

Ticket information can be found by clicking here. And the nearest bus stop is a two minute walk away at the Canadian Tire and although the town’s transit services are free they do not operate on Sundays.

The second three day event, also occurring from May 30th to June 1st, will be the Niagara Falls Comic Con at the Niagara Falls Convention Center.

The Oshawa Comicon will be held on the 31st of May, 2025 from 10am to 3pm at YWCA Durham and admission will be $5 or free kids 12 and under.

The venue is serviced by route 901 on Durham Regional Transit via bus stop number 661 which is a five minute walk away.

The SJFM Vintage and Collectibles Market will be hosted by the St. Johns’ Farmers Market on Sunday, June 1st, 2025 from 8:30am to 1:30pm and this event is free.

This venue has its own bus stops, numbered 2780 and 3080, which are serviced by Routes 10 and 12 on Metrobus.

The Peterborough Comicon will be held at the Peterborough Curling Club on the 1st of July, 2025, from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $5 or free kids 12 and under.

Unfortunately the nearest bus stops from this venue, 1302 and 1600, are a 15 minute walk away. But Route 7 does operate on Sundays on Peterborough Transit.

And finally, The Junction Steel Wheels Record Show will be held on Sunday, June 1st, 2025 at Rainhard Brewing from 1pm to 5pm. And admission will be $5 or $10 for early entry at noon.

This venue is a ten minute walk away from the Gunns Loop where TTC Streetcars terminate.

This Weekend’s Events + Bonus Offers

There will be multiple conventions this weekend, one of which is a record convention:

The two day East Coast Comic Expo will start on June the 7th, 2014 at The Moncton Coliseum, which will operate from 6pm to 9pm that day and from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, with early VIP access ticket being made available by clicking here.

Admission to this event will be free for children 12 and under. And the nearest bus stop, T5018, is serviced by bus route 50 (Red Line) on Codiac Transpo.

Another event, Fal-Con 2024: The Falconing, will also be held in conjunction with this convention on the 8th and 9th of June 2024 with Table Top Gaming (40k, AoS and old world play tournaments) at the same venue. Click here for details.

The Niagara Falls Comic Con will be hosted by the Niagara Falls Convention Center from 3pm on Friday through to 4pm Sunday (Friday 3pm-9pm / Saturday 10am-6pm / Sunday 10am to 4pm) with various admission prices and free for kids 6 and under.

The nearest bus stops are number 160 and 165, which are serviced by multiple routes on the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority.

And the Bowmanvillle CD and Record Show will again be hosted by the Bowmanville Memorial Park Club House with free admission on Sunday, June 9th, 2024 from 10am to 4pm.

The nearest operating bus stop is 1499, which is a 8 minute walk from the venue from the Lakeridge Health Bowmanville hospital complex, and this stop is serviced by Route 902 on Durham Region Transit.
