There will be several major events this weekend, including one record convention in Toronto and two comicons, one in Edmonton AB and the other in Hamilton ON.
The Edmonton Fanexpo will be hosted by the Edmonton Expo Center from the 18th to the 20th of September, 2026 and ticket information can be found clicking here.

The venue is serviced by multiple routes on Hamilton Transit via the Frank A. Cooke Terminal, which is next to the venue.

The Toronto-Mississauga Vinyl Record & Collectibles Show will be held at the Etobicoke Olympium from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, the 20th of September, 2026 and admission will be $5 cash at the door.

Comicons This Weekend
There will be several major fan conventions and comicons this weekend, one of which will last all weekend long in Toronto.
Fanexpo Canada will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Thursday, the 27th of August, 2026 to Sunday, the 30th of August, 2026. And admission information can be found by clicking here.
This venue is accessible from Union Station to the east of the venue or the streetcar stop at the Spadina and Front Street to the west. Consult the TTC website for additional information.

The Quinte Comicon will be hosted by the Quinte Curling Club on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $10 at the door with kids 12 and under getting in for free.
This venue is serviced by Route 8 on Belleville Transit via a bus stop in front of the venue.

The Orillia Comicon will be held on Sunday, the 30th of August, 2026 at the Main Building of Odas Park from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $10 or free for kids 12 and under.
Although Orillia Transit does offer limited services on Sunday, the nearest bus stop to this venue is unfortunately a 17 minute walk away.

This Weekend’s Events
There will be three collector events and two record conventions this weekend in Ontario, including a weekend long comicon.
Yeticon will occur from Friday, the 19th of June to Sunday, the 21st of June 2026 in the Blue Mountain Village and you can click here for ticket information.
This resort has multiple stops, the closest to the venue being bus stop number 618, which is serviced by the Blue Mountain Link and Flixbus.

The KW Comicon will be hosted by The Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st, 2026. And you can click here for information on this event’s tickets.

The Picton Comicon will be held at the Prince Edward Curling Club on Sunday, June 21s, 2026 from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $5 and free for kids 12 and under.

Multiple Collector Events, Mostly in Ontario
There will be seven collector and/or comic events this weekend, all but one being in Ontario.
Island Fancon will be held from the Friday, the 5th to Sunday. the 7th of June, 2026 in City Centre Park and ticket information is available by clicking here.

The Niagara Falls Comicon will also be held all weekend, but at the Niagara Falls Convention Center, and you can click here for ticket information.

The Toronto Comic Art Festival will be a two day event that will be held at the Mattamy Athletic Center, on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday June 7th and admission is free.
The venue is located a three minute walk east from the College Subway Station.

The Parry Sound Comicon will occur on June 6th, 2026 from 10am to 3pm at the Bobby Orr Community Centre and admission will be $10 at the door and free for kids 12 and under.
This community has no public transit but the venue itself is a three minute taxi drive or 14 minute walk from the Via Rail Station. And the nearest bus stops to the venue are 5 minutes away by taxi, which are serviced by Ontario Northland and Flixbus.

The Play It Again Retro Media Market will be held on Sunday, the 7th of June, 2026 at the Next Door Market & Event Space, which is conveniently located next to the Corso Italia Light Rail Station.
This free event will be held from 11am to 5pm.

The Junction Steel Wheels Record Show will also be held on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, but from noon to 5pm at the Rainhard Brewery and admission will be $7 at the door with free swag bags for the first 50 to 100 customers.
The venue is a three minute walk away from the Gunns Loop which is serviced by streetcar routes 312 and 512.

And finally, the Bracebridge Comicon with be held on Sunday as well, from 10am to 3pm at the Muskoka Lumber Community Center and admission will be $10 at the door with kids under 12 getting in for free.

Northern FanCon is a three day event starting on the first of May, 2026 that will be held at the Prince George CN Centre and tickets are available from Ticketnorth.

The Toronto Toy Riot will be hosted by the Tranzac Club on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 and admission will be free.

The Brantford Record Show will be hosted by the Dunsdon Legion from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, the 3rd of May, 2026 and admission will be $2.

Lots of Events!
There will be multiple record conventions in Ontario (with one in Montreal) and comicons through-out Canada this weekend, one of which is starting today in Calgary.
The Calgary Expo is a four day convention that will be held at the Stampede Park starting today and ending Sunday night. And “The Hobbits” will be in attendance.

The Cornwall & Area Pop Event will be hosted by the Benson Center on Saturday, the 25th of April and Sunday, the 26th of April, 2026. And tickets will be $18 on Saturday, $12 on Sunday and kids 12 and under get in free on both days when accompanied by a paying adult.
The venue has its own bus stop, which is serviced by Route 3 on Cornwall Transit and a free shuttle service to this venue will be made available by this municipal transit service on Sunday, as detailed on this page on the official event web site.

The Foire Aux Vinyles Plateau, a.k.a Montreal Plateau Record Show, will again be held at the Église Saint-Denis on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. And this venue is conveniently located next to the Laurier entrance/exit (Édicule B) of the Laurier Metro Station on the Orange line of the Montreal Metro operated by the STM.
Admission to this event is $5 from 10am to 5pm or $15 for early entry at 9am.

The Galaxy Sarnia Record Show will be hosted by The Moose Lodge on, Saturday, the 25th of April, 2026 from 10am to 4pm and admission will be a donation to the venue itself.

The Stratford Vinyl Sale & Record Show will be hosted by the Army Navy & Air Force Veterans Hall from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, the 26th of April, 2026 and admission will be a donation to the Stratford Perth Humane Society.
