More Free Online Content
Apple TV is streaming several of its original television programs and film for free via its app, namely Servant, For All Mankind, Little America, Dickinson, The Elephant Queen, Helpsters, Snoopy in Space and Ghostwriter.
Styx (featuring Gowan) will also be streaming a concert recorded in Las Vegas tonight at 8 PM Eastern. You can view it by clicking here.
Guitarist David Barrett will be previewing The Elegant Universe on Facebook Live on Sunday, April 11th, at Noon Eastern.
Multiple live performances are also available via the National Arts Centre.
Free Previews Extended
Rogers Communications and several other cable providers have decided to extend their free previews for their customers due to the COVID-19 issue.
Rogers will be extending their free previews until the end of June and have added Tubi TV to their apps, which enables customers with compatible set-top boxes to access free, ad-supported movies and television programs.
I will, of course, add Tubi TV to my Links To Pass The Time blog entry as soon as possible.
Netflix & Crave Update
You may observe a reduction in video quality on Netflix and Crave due to the unprecedented demand for those streaming services.
Both services have decided to reduce their resolutions in response to this demand and the other Canadian services may do so as well shortly.
