Record Shows This Weekend
Are you going to be in North Bay, Sudbury or Hamilton, Ontario this weekend? Then you might like to pop in the local record shows that are happening in these cities.
The North Bay Record Show will be occurring on Saturday, the 21st of September 2019 at the The Grande Event Centre at 192 Main Street East from 10am to 3 pm. Admission with be $3.
The Sudbury Music & Collectibles Show will be hosted at the Caruso Club at
385 Haig Street the following day, from 10am to 4pm. Admission will be $4, unless you want to go in early at 9am for $10.
The Hamilton Record & Music Collectible Show will also occur on Sunday, the 22nd, this show happening at the Hamilton Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre at 150 King St E, from 10:30am to 4 pm. General admission will be $4, whilst early admission for 9 am will be $20.

If you’re in Toronto this weekend, you should probably consider dropping by at the Toronto East Vinyl Record & Collectibles Show, which will be held this Sunday from 10 am to 3
This is one of Canada’s largest record and music memorabilia conventions and admission is only $5. But if you’re planning on simply relaxing and buying online, you should probably look at what Indigo Books and Music has to offer this weekend, especially if you’re an RBC credit cardholder.

Seeing A Movie This Weekend?
Select Cineplex and Landmark Movie Theatres are offering discounted adult admissions this weekend from August the 30th to September 3rd, 2019, at $6.99 per adult admission. Consult your local theatre for details.
Speaking of Cineplex, you should note that the Cineplex Free Digital Movie Rental Promotion is still active and available to people who purchase select Samsung 4K and 8K televisions until November 7th, 2019.
Canadians who take advantage of that offer will get one free digital movie rental per week, for a year.
Disney+ Canada Update
Disney+ will be online in Canada on November 12th, 2019 according to their official site and according to several sources the monthly subscription rate for Canadian will be $8.99 (or $89.99 yearly).
According to Deadline, “Customers will be able to subscribe to Disney+ directly or via in-app purchases and will be available on a slew of platforms including Apple, Google, Microsoft’s Xbox One, Sony via its Android TVs and the Playstation 4 and Roku.“
There’s no news on when Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic titles will be removed from Netflix’s
Bloomberg has also reported that Apple TV will be available by November but no specific information about Canada has been made available.
