David Barrett Live Tonight in Toronto
Progressive rock guitarist David Barrett will be celebrating the release of his “The Acoustic Guitar Album’ compact disc at Whistler’s McNeil Room tonight in Toronto.

Interesting Crowd Funding Campaigns
You’ll notice that from time to time I like to link interesting music related crowdfunding campaigns, either on Kickstarter or Indiegogo. And today I think i’d bump two of them.
The first is actually as accessory item ; A fleece jacket that has hidden pockets for your phone, tablets, portable power banks, etc.
The SCOTTeVEST not only conceals your devices but enables you to run wires through-out the jacket to charge a phone in one pocket from a portable power bank in another pocket. And this jacket also contains a packet that blocks RFIDs, to prevent people from stealing personal data from passports, etc.

The second crowd funding campaign I encountered is a piano that teaches people to play.
The Apple MFi-Certified ONE Smart Piano and Light Keyboard are pianos or keyboards that connect to phones and tablets, on which learning software and games can be played.
The piano version is a classic body upright 88 key piano with 3 pedals whilst the keyboard version has 61 LED keys, AUX Output and MP3 speakers. And the included APP has thousands of interactive free sheet music and virtual music lessons.

Feds To Match Donations To Nepal Until May 15th
Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada has issued a press release stating that the Federal government will match Canadian donations to help Nepal that were performed via registered charities like the UN Refugee Agency and Red Cross Canada until May 15th, 2015.
