Multiples Events This Weekend
There will be five record collector events and two comicons this weekend in Ontario.
The Sudbury Music & Collectables Show, will occur at the Days Inn By Wyndham Sudbury and Conference Centre on the 27th of September, 2025 from 10am to 3pm, with early admission at 9am for $10.
General admission after 10am is $5 and the venue is a 10 minute walk away from the Via Rail station and Sudbury Community Arena, which is serviced by multiple routes on Sudbury Transit.

The Kingston Comicon will be hosted by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 560 from 10am to 3pm on September 27th, 2025 and admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under.
The nearest bus sups to the venue are serviced by Routes 1 and 802 Express on Kingston Transit.

The Fort Erie Record Show will be held at Sessions on the River on September 27th, 2025 from 10 am to 3pm and admission is a $3 donation to cope or free entry for kids.
The venue is serviced by On Demand services provided by Microtransit.

The Georgian Bay Fancon will occur on the 27th of September, 2025 at the Meaford and St.Vincent Community Centre from 10am to 4pm and tickets are $10 for adults and kids over 13, $5 for kids aged 6 to 12 or free for kids under 6.

And although transit is not available to the general public in this community, residents of Meaford with a disability or mobility issue can obtain on demand service to the venue from Meaford Moves+. Please note that this is a Flixbus stop in this community but it is a 14 minute walk from the venue.

A free, large private record sale will be held from 10am to 3pm on the 17th and 18 of September, 2025 at 90 Vanzant Court in Stouffville, Ontario and yes, this is public transit service to this community.
The nearest bus stops to the residence in question are 5188 and 7275, both of which are serviced by Route 009 on York Regional Transit and are a six minutes walk away. And there is a GO Transit stop east of this private residence, serviced by Routes 70 and 71.

The North Bay Record Show will be held on Sunday, the 28th of September 2025 at the North Bay Elk’s Lodge No 25 from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $5 or $10 for early admission at 9am.
The venue and by two nearby bus stops which are service by Route 3 and 7 on North Bay Transit.

The St. Thomas Record Show will also occur on Sunday, September 28th, 2025 from 10am to 3pm but at The Back Alley Bar & Grill and admission will be a donation to a local charity.
This venue is serviced by Route 3 on Local Motion from Talbot Street, which is one street over from the venue.

Lots of Events This Weekend
There will be multiple events this weekend, including one weekend long comicon, two 2 day comicons and two major record conventions.
The Edmonton Expo is a three day comicon event occurring at the Edmonton Expo Center from Friday the 19th of September to Sunday the 21st of September, 2025.

The Back Issues Comicon will be hosted by the Christ Church Parish Hall in Dartmouth on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 from 9am to 3pm. And admission will be $3 at the door.
The nearest bus stop the the venue is bus stop number 7389, which is serviced by bus routes 54, 55 and 62 on Halifax Transit.

The Hamilton Comic Con will be held at the Hamilton Convention Centre on both Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of September and admission information can be found by clicking here.
This venue is serviced by multiple routes on HSR via the Frank A. Cooke Transit Terminal.

Thundercon will also be a two day event held on the 20th and 21st of September, 2025 but at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition Center and ticket information can be found on the official Thundercon site.
This venue is serviced by multiple routes on Thunder Bay Transit, but the nearest bus stop to the venue, stop number 1847, is serviced by Route 12.

The two record conventions will occur on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, one of which will be the Toronto/Mississauga Vinyl Record & Collectibles Show at the Etobicoke Olympium from 10am to 3pm.
Admission will be $5 and the nearest bus stops to this venue are bus stop numbers 1477 and 1493 which are serviced by Bus Route 48 on the TTC.

The other record convention will be the Woodstock Record, CD, & Music Collectibles Show, which will be held at the Market Building of the Woodstock Fairgrounds from 9:30am to 2:30pm and admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under.

This Weekend – Comicons & Record Conventions
The weekend starts off with the multiple day Ottawa Comicon from the 5th to the 7th at the EY Center, near the Ottawa International Airport and next to the Uplands LRT station.

The next event is again a comicon, the Barrie Comicon, from 10am to 3pm, on Saturday, the 6th of September, 2025 at the Eastview Arena. And admission is $5 or free for kids 12 and under.
The nearest bus stops to the venue are numbers 407 and 409, which are serviced by Bus Routes 8A and 101 on Barrie Transit.

The Hamilton Record Show will be held at Bridgework from 10:30am to 4pm on Saturday as well, and admission is $5 or $20 for early admission at 9am.
The venue is a twelve minute walk away from the West Harbour Go Station or eight minute walk from Bus Stop 2977 which is serviced by Bus Routes 08 and 09 on HSR.

Graffiker Alley, “The Festival of Self-Published Comics, Manga and Zines”, will also be held on Saturday, at the Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga, from 11am to 5pm, with free admission.
The venue is a fifteen minute walk away from the Long Branch Go Station and Long Branch Loop on the TTC. Or you can take Bus Route 31 on Miway Transit from either to the nearest bus stops to the venue, 0408 or 0443, which are also serviced by Bus Route 23.

The Dorchester Record & CD Sale will occur on Sunday, the 7th of September, 2025 at the Dorchester Legion from 10am to 3pm. And admission is a donation to the Legion.
This venue is not serviced by public transit.

The Bowmanvillle CD and Record Show is also a free event, at it will be held on Sunday, the 7th of September, 2025 at the Bowmanville Memorial Park Club House from 10am to 4pm.
Note that this venue is located near Exit 432 on Highway 401. And the nearest bus stop to the venue, stop number 1499, is an eight minute walk away and it is serviced by Route 902 on Durham Region Transit, whose site does have a trip planner.

This Weekend’s Events
There will be three events this weekend, two of which will be comicons, and one will be a record convention:
The first event of the weekend, Fan Expo 2025, will begin tomorrow and end on Sunday at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

The next event will be the Stratford Record Show on Sunday, the 24th of August, 2025 at The Army Navy Hall from 10am to 3pm. And admission will be a donation to the Stratford-Perth Humane Society.
The venue is serviced by on demand transit by Stratford Transit and is a four minute taxi drive from the city’s VIA Rail Station.

The last event of the weekend will be the Westcoast Comicon which will be held at the Maritime Labour Center from 11am to 5pm on the 24th of August, 2025. And admission is $15 or free for kids 12 and under.

Warped on Scene – Niagara Falls
The Niagara Falls Festival & Record Show, a.k.a Warped on Scene, will be held from 1pm to 6pm at Taps Brewhouse and tickets are $5 per person (click here to purchase online).
The nearest bus stops to the venue are stop numbers 6003 and 6186, which is serviced by multiple routes on Niagara Transit and the venue is a 10 minute walk away from the Niagara Falls Via Rail and Go Train station. And yes, you can take Route 204 from the Bus Terminal next to these train stations to this event, which will also feature concerts from 20 hard rock or metal bands until 11pm.
New Yorkers from Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse should note that they will be able to attend using Amtrak’s “Maple Leaf” service.

This Weekend’s Events
This weekend there will be a free record show in Toronto and two comicons in Ontario, one of which will also be in the Greater Toronto Area:
The Toronto Flipside DJ and Collectors’ Vintage Record Sale will be held at the Sporting Clube Portugues De Toronto on Saturday, August 9th 2025 and this is a free event.
The nearest TTC bus stops are #1007 and #1019, which are served by Route 29 from Jane Station. But the venue is also a 15 minute walk north from the Dundas West station, a line 2 metro station where streetcar routes 504 and 505 terminate. And the value is also an 18 minute walk north from the Bloor Go and UP Station.

The first comicon, Vaughan Con, will occur for two days at the Bellvue Manor, on Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of August 2025.

The second comicon, the Orangeville Comicon, will be held at the Orangeville Curling Club on Sunday, the 10th of August 2025 and admission will be $5 at the door.
Free transit is provided by Orangeville Transit and the Walmart next to the venue is serviced by the Green route, which connects to GO Bus Route 37 from the Brampton Bus Terminal at bus stop number 100258.
