Lots of Events This Weekend.

Record Store Day is coming up fast, on the 18th. But there are quite a few record conventions, comicons and collector events this weekend for meanwhile:

Central Canada C4 Comic-Con will be a two day event at the Caboto Centre, starting on Friday, the 10th of April 2026 at 4pm, ending at 9pm the following day. And entry is $10 or free for kids 14 and under.

The nearest bus stops to this venue are 60013 and 60054, which is serviced by Route 677 on Winnipeg Transit.

The Spring 2026 edition of the Edmonton Record Fair will also be held on the 11th of April, 2026 at the Northgate Lions Recreation Centre, from 9:30am to 3:30pm. And early admission at 9:30 am will be $10 whilst general admission will be $5 at 11am.

The nearest bus stops to the venue are bus stop numbers 77342 and 77350, where are serviced by Route 54 on Edmonton Transit.

Ottawa Record Fair VII will again be held at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre but on April 11th, 2026 from 10am to 4pm. And admission will be $10 at 10am (early bird) and $5 at 11am (general entry).

The venue is of course located one street over from Bank, where bus stop numbers 1902 and 2487 are located. And these stops are serviced Routes 6, 7 and 11 on OC Transpo, which are accessible from Parliament Station.

The Saskatoon Anime Fest will be hosted by the Saskatoon Inn and Conference Centre on April 11th, 2026 from 10am to 5pm. And admission information can be accessed by clicking here.

This venue has its own bus stop, bus stop number 5642, which is serviced by Route 11 on Saskatoon Transit.

TimminsCon 2026 is a two day event starting at 10am on the 11th of April, to 4pm on the 12th of April, 2026 at the McIntyre Community Centre and admission information can be found by clicking here.

The venue has a bus stop serviced by Route 9 on Saturdays and Routes 16 and 901 on Sundays on Timmons Transit.

The Toronto-Mississauga Vinyl Record & Collectibles Show will be at the Etobicoke Olympium from 10am to 3pm on April 12th, 2006 and admission is $5.

The nearest bus stops to the venue at bus stop number 1477 and 1493, which are serviced by Route 48 on the TTC.

The Vancouver Flea Market Records & Vinyl Show will be hosted by the Vancouver Flea Market on the 12th of April, 2026, opening at 10am and closing at 3pm. And admission will be $5.

This venue is an 11 minute walk away from the Science Center Station and Pacific Central Train Station but Route 22 on Translink also services the nearest bus stops to this venue, 51276 and 51354.

One Comic Book Show, Two Record Shows

There will be three events this weekend, a comic book show in Calgary on Saturday and two record shows in Ontario on Sunday.

The Calgary Comic Book Show will be held at the Acadia Recreation Complex from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, the 7th of March, 2026. And admission is free.

The nearest bus stops to the venue are bus stop numbers 6414 and 6447, which are serviced by Route 99 from the Heritage LRT Station by Calgary Transit.

The Newmarket Vinyl Record & Collectibles Show will be hosted by the Newmarket Legion on Sunday, March 8th, 2026 from 10am to 3pm. And admission will be $5.

The nearest bus stops to this venue are bus stop numbers 2060 and 2074, a six minute walk straight down to the other end of Muriel Street. A trip planner can be found on the York Region Transit site.

The Bowmanvillle CD and Record Show will again be held at the Bowmanville Memorial Park Club House from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, the 8th of March 2026. And admission will be free.

The nearest bus stop, stop number 1499, is an 8 minute walk away from the venue and is next to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.

Central AB Nerd Expo

This collector and gamer’s convention will be held at the Red Deer Polytechnic this weekend, on the 21st and 22nd of February 2026. And admission will be free for those that wear costumes.

Signage to the venue will be provided, the nearest bus stop to the venue being stop number 688, which is serviced by bus routes R3 and R13 on Red Deer Transit. And note that cash may be preferred at some of the vendors at this convention so you might want to pop by the Royal Bank ATM at this campus, which is located next to the Margaret Parson’s Theatre, Tim Hortons and public washrooms.

Multiple Collector Events This Weekend

There will be one record conventions, two minor record collector events and three comicons this weekend, most of which will be in Ontario.

The Holiday Edition of the Niagara Falls Comicon will again be held at the Niagara Falls Convention Center, this time from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, December 6th, 2025.

The Toronto-Leaside Vinyl Record, CD & Collectibles Show will be hosted by the Leaside Memorial Community Gardens on Sunday, December 7th, 2025 from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $5.

The nearest bus stops to the venue are numbers 7980 and 7981, which are serviced by Route 88 on the TTC from Eglinton Station. The venue is also serviced by Route 56 from the Donlands Station via stop numbers 5136 and 15671 on nearby Laird Drive. And that route also goes to Eglinton Station.

The Music Fair at Foil Gallery in Montreal, Quebec will also be held on Sunday, December 7th, 2025 but from 10am to 5pm and admission will be free.

The venue is serviced by multiple routes from the De Castelnau Metro Station via stop numbers 51411 and 51440.

The Awesome Toy Show will be held from noon to 4pm at the Courtyard Merriott Toronto/Mississauga West on Sunday, December 7th, 2025 and tickets can be purchased by clicking here.

Record Conventions Galore!

There will be multiple record conventions and one comicons this weekend, in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec:

The Vinyl in the Valley Collector Show will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2025 at the Vernon Elks Lodge from 10am to 3pm and admission is $5 or $10 for early entry at 9am.

The venue is located next to the Downtown Exchange for public transit, where multiple routes on the Vernon Regional Transit converge.

The Collingwood Comicon will also be held on Saturday, the 18th of October, 2025 from 10am to 3pm. But it will be hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63 and admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under.

The venue has two bus stops, 243 and 420, which is serviced by the Crosstown route on Collingwood Transit – This is an On Demand service on weekends.

The Foire Au Vinyles Plateau Record Show will again be held at the Église Saint-Denis on Saturday, the 18th of October, from 10am to 4pm, and admission will be $5 to $10 for early entry at 9am.

The venue, whose entry is at 5075 rue Rivard, is conveniently located next to the Édicule B entrance/exit of the Laurier Metro Station.

The Boogie Record Fair and Market will be held at Boogie on Queen on Sunday, the 19th of October, 2025, from 1pm to 5pm. And admission will be free.

This venue is serviced by multiple trams and busses on the TTC from stop numbers 6838 and 15348.

The Calgary Music Collectors Show will again be hosted by the Acadia Recreation Complex, this time on Sunday, the 19th of October, 2025 from 11am to 4pm, and admission will be $5 or 10 for early admission at 9:30am.

The nearest bus stops to the venue are 6414 and 6447, and these are serviced by Route 99 on Calgary Transit.

The Bowmanvillle CD and Record Show will be held at the event’s regular venue, the Bowmanville Memorial Park Club House, from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, and admission will be free.

This venue is now now only being serviced by Bus Stop 100157, which is a 12 minute walk away from the venue, but by on demand services at Durham Regional Transit. And Go Transit also now operates from that stop.

The Newmarket Vinyl Record & Collectibles Show will also be held on Sunday, the 19th of October 2025, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 426 from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $5.

The nearest York Regional Transit bus stops, 2060 and 2075, which are a six unite walk away, are serviced by Route 056.

The Sarnia Record Show will again be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62, this time from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, October 19th, 2025 and admission will be a Toonie donation to the Legion.

The venue is a six minute walk away from the Bayside Terminal, which is serviced by multiple major routes on Sarnia Transit, as well as Strathroy-Caradoc Inter-Community Transit and Flixbus.

A major record sale will be occurring at the Kingston Symphony Warehouse this weekend as well, starting on the Tuesday, the 16th of October, 2025.

They will be selling vinyl, cds, DVDs and turntables, including some rarer items in the Platinum Lounge. But it is at a rather out of the way location, the nearest bus stops being a 15 minute walk away on Princess Drive; These are serviced by Route 4 and Route 11 on Kingston Transit and you should note that Route 11 terminates at the Via Rail station.

Lots of Events This Weekend

There will be multiple events this weekend, including one weekend long comicon, two 2 day comicons and two major record conventions.

The Edmonton Expo is a three day comicon event occurring at the Edmonton Expo Center from Friday the 19th of September to Sunday the 21st of September, 2025.

The Back Issues Comicon will be hosted by the Christ Church Parish Hall in Dartmouth on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 from 9am to 3pm. And admission will be $3 at the door.

The nearest bus stop the the venue is bus stop number 7389, which is serviced by bus routes 54, 55 and 62 on Halifax Transit.

The Hamilton Comic Con will be held at the Hamilton Convention Centre on both Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of September and admission information can be found by clicking here.

This venue is serviced by multiple routes on HSR via the Frank A. Cooke Transit Terminal.

Thundercon will also be a two day event held on the 20th and 21st of September, 2025 but at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition Center and ticket information can be found on the official Thundercon site.

This venue is serviced by multiple routes on Thunder Bay Transit, but the nearest bus stop to the venue, stop number 1847, is serviced by Route 12.

The two record conventions will occur on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, one of which will be the Toronto/Mississauga Vinyl Record & Collectibles Show at the Etobicoke Olympium from 10am to 3pm.

Admission will be $5 and the nearest bus stops to this venue are bus stop numbers 1477 and 1493 which are serviced by Bus Route 48 on the TTC.

The other record convention will be the Woodstock Record, CD, & Music Collectibles Show, which will be held at the Market Building of the Woodstock Fairgrounds from 9:30am to 2:30pm and admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under.
