Free transit In December in Ottawa
If you’re planning on visiting or shopping in Ottawa in December, you should know that transit will be offered for free that month.
Here are my favourite music stores in the city:

A Legend Records is also located in the Hazeldeen Mall (map) whilst Sunrise Record stores can be found in the Bayshore Shopping Centre (map), Carlingwood Mall (map), St Laurent Shopping Center (map) and Place D’Orleans Shopping Centre (map).

More Free Concerts
Genesis will be premiering concerts for free on their official youtube channel, at 3 PM eastern on five consecutive Saturdays starting today with Three Sides Live, a concert filmed on 28 and 29 November 1981 at the Savoy Thater and Nassau Coliseum in New York.
The “Film Festival 2020” will continue on April 25th with Genesis Live: A Mama Tour, which features live footage from several February 1984 concerts at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre. And starting on May 2nd, three additional live concert recordings will make their way to the channel, namely Genesis Live At Wembley Stadium, which was filmed from July 1st to July 4th, 1987, The Way We Walk – Live in Concert, which was filmed at Earls Court in November 1992, and When In Rome 2007, which was filmed at the Circus Maximus in Rome on July 14, 2007.
The last two aforementioned films will be added on May 9th and May 16th.
Neil Finn of Split Enz and Crowded House has also been performing live from isolation on Mixrl at 7 PM Eastern, daily from Late March. Details on his live broadcasts and archived recordings are available by clicking here. And The Killers are scheduled to perform today on Instagram Live at 3 PM Eastern (12 PM Pacific Time).
North Americans who prefer English theatre also have the opportunity to view a full stage version of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera until 2 pm Eastern on Sunday on the Show Must Go On! Youtube channel.
This performance features Ramin Karimloo, Sierra Boggess and Hadley Fraser and will be replaced by other stage performances penned by Andrew Lloyd Webber shortly after 2 pm Eastern on Sunday.
Liongate Live + Free Concerts
Mongrel Media will be streaming some of their most popular films on the Liongate Movies Youtube channel, for four consecutive Friday nights, starting tonight at 9 pm eastern with The Hunger Games.
These events will be hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis and will feature special guest celebrities and YouTube personalities, who will interact with fans in real-time via Youtube chat and live-tweeting (with @Lionsgate and their partners).
There will also be in-show shared fan engagement opportunities, including movie trivia, movie-themed challenges, and more.
The next films to be featured are Dirty Dancing (on April 24th), LaLaLand (on May 1st) and John Wick (on May 8th).
In regards to free concerts, Pink Floyd is now streaming their restored and re-edited 90 minute Pulse concert on their official Youtube channel. And Radiohead‘s “Dublin – Live From A Tent” is also available on their official Youtube channel.
More Free Online Content
Apple TV is streaming several of its original television programs and film for free via its app, namely Servant, For All Mankind, Little America, Dickinson, The Elephant Queen, Helpsters, Snoopy in Space and Ghostwriter.
Styx (featuring Gowan) will also be streaming a concert recorded in Las Vegas tonight at 8 PM Eastern. You can view it by clicking here.
Guitarist David Barrett will be previewing The Elegant Universe on Facebook Live on Sunday, April 11th, at Noon Eastern.
Multiple live performances are also available via the National Arts Centre.
Free Previews Extended
Rogers Communications and several other cable providers have decided to extend their free previews for their customers due to the COVID-19 issue.
Rogers will be extending their free previews until the end of June and have added Tubi TV to their apps, which enables customers with compatible set-top boxes to access free, ad-supported movies and television programs.
