The Glass Tiger debut release that resulted in Canadian chart-topper and international hit “Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone)” was released today, 35 years ago.

It remained in the Canadian album charts for 37 weeks, peaking at the 4th position, reaching Quadruple Platinum status in Canada (400,000 physical copies sold) by May 13th, 1987.

“Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone)” has also been certified Platinum in Canada with 80,000 Physical Units sold by July 23, 1986 whilst the second best selling single from that album, “Someday”, had been certified Gold on February 1, 1987, remaining in the charts for 19 weeks and topping at the 11th slot.

Woofstock Concert in Moncton

I was just made aware that Honeymoon Suite, Glass Tiger and Haywire will be performing in Moncton, New Brunswick this Saturday at The Old Cosmo Complex.

Funds from this concert will be forwarded to the SPCA in Moncton to help renovate their shelter.
