International Record Store Day

Record Store Day & More

This year’s Record Store Day will be this Saturday, the 20th of April 2024 and vinyl collectors in the Kitchener, Ontario area will also have a second chance to find that ever elusive LP at Rabid Fox Tavern from 11am to 4pm, where a vinyl pop up is scheduled.

Admission to the Kitchener Vinyl Popup is a donation to Women’s Crisis Services of the Waterloo Region and the nearest bus stops to the venue are 1718 & 1782 (Route 10) and 2052 & 2053 (Route 201) with Grand River Transit.

By the way, a list of participating retailers for Record Store Day can be found by clicking here and the list of that day’s special releases is listed here.

Enjoy.

Record Store Day Postponed

Record Store Day has been postponed to June 20th, 2020. And multiple tour dates have changed, including some by Celine Dion and Thom Yorke of Radiohead:

You should probably keep an eye on your favourite artists for changes to their upcoming tour schedules.

UPDATE: Schools, Museums, Libraries and City Facilities in Ottawa will be closed from March 14th to April 5th. Please consult your local municipality’s schedules.

Record Store Day – April 21st, 2018

Record Store Day will be on April 21st this year and a release list has been made available.

I’m interested in the re-release of Platinum Blonde’s “Standing In The Dark” on white vinyl and Def Leppard’s “Live From Abbey Road” LP. 🙂
