Multiple Major Events This Weekend
There will be multiple day comicon and fan events this weekend, as well as two record conventions.
Howloween 2025 will begin on Thursday the 23rd, 2025 and end on the 26th at the Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC.
This venue is near the airport and serviced by Routes 401 and 407 on Translink, this venue having it’s own bus stop (56483).

The Winnipeg Comicon will run from on Friday, October 24th to Sunday, October 26th, 2025 at the RBC Convention Center and you can obtain ticket information by clicking here.
The venue is located in the core and therefore surrounded by multiple bus stops serviced by Winnipeg Transit, the closest being on Broadway Street (Stop Numbers 10593 and 10586).

Frightmare In The Falls will be a two day event, starting from Saturday, the 25th of October 2025, that will be hosted by the Niagara Falls Convention Center. And admission information can be found by clicking here.
This downtown venue is serviced by multiple routes via bus stop numbers 6152 and 8434 on Niagara Falls Transit.

The Simcoe Record & CD Show will be held on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 79 from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $2.
This venue is a five animate walk from the Simcoe Library Bus Stop, which is service by the Brampton route on Norfolk County Public Transit. Ask for stop S1a if you are using On Demand Transit, as it is at the venue itself.

The Toronto Downtown Record Show will again be occurring at the Tranzak Club, this time on Sunday, the 26th of October 2025 from noon to 4pm. And admission will be $7 or $20 for early entry at 10am.
This venue is a six minute walk away from Bathurst Station, where Streetcar Route 511 also terminates.

The London Record Show will be held at the lower level of Centennial Hall on Sunday, October 26th, 2025 from 11am to 5pm and admission will be $5.
This centrally coated venue has multiple bus stops on London Transit, the closest being at London City Hall, which is serviced by Route 1.

This Weekend’s Events
There will be three events this weekend, two of which will be comicons, and one will be a record convention:
The first event of the weekend, Fan Expo 2025, will begin tomorrow and end on Sunday at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.
Admission information can be found clicking here. And the venue is connected to Union Station, which is serviced by the TTC Metro, GO Transit, UP Express and Via Rail.

The next event will be the Stratford Record Show on Sunday, the 24th of August, 2025 at The Army Navy Hall from 10am to 3pm. And admission will be a donation to the Stratford-Perth Humane Society.
The venue is serviced by on demand transit by Stratford Transit and is a four minute taxi drive from the city’s VIA Rail Station.

The last event of the weekend will be the Westcoast Comicon which will be held at the Maritime Labour Center from 11am to 5pm on the 24th of August, 2025. And admission is $15 or free for kids 12 and under.
The nearest bus stops to the venue are 50435 and 50496, which are serviced by multiple routes on Translink.

Multiple Major Events This Weekend
There are lots of record conventions and comicons, from coast to coast:
The Sudbury Music & Collectables Show will be held on Saturday, the 24th of May, 2025 from 10am to 3pm at the Northbury Hotel.
Admission will be $5 or $10 for early admission at 9am. The venue is a 12 minute walk from the Via Rail station, which is serviced by multiple routes on Greater Sudbury Transit. Note that a pedestrian tunnel near these bus stops facilitate access to Riverside Drive and the venue.

The Capital Comic Book Convention will be also be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 but from 11am to 4pm at the RA Center in Ottawa.

And the nearest bus stops from the venue, bus stop numbers 1152 and 1567, is a 6 minute walk away and serviced by a multiple of routes on OC Transpo because these stops are next to Billings Bridge Transitway Station.

The Trenton Comicon will be held on Saturday, the 24th of May at the Trenton Curling Club from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under.
This venue has its own bus stop, 107, and is service by Route B on Quinte Transit, which also provides Rides on Demand.

The spring version of Record Fair NL will be held at the St.John’s Farmers Market from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, the 25th of May, 2025.
Admission will be $2 per person or free for kids 12 and under. And Bus Stops next to the venue, 2780 and 3080, are serviced by Routes 10 and 12 on Metrobus

The Boogie Record Fair & Market hosted by Boogie on Queen in Toronto will also be held on Sunday, the 25th of May, 2025 but from 1pm to 5pm. And it will be a free event.
This venue is serviced by streetcar routes 301 and 501 on the TTC via stop numbers 6838 and 15348.

The MacKinnon Brothers Vinyl Record Market will also be a free event on Sunday, May 25th, 2025, which will be held at the MacKinnon Brothers Brewery from 1pm to 4pm.
This venue I unfortunately isolated in a rural area that does not have public transit.

The North Bay Record Show will be held on Sunday, the 25th, of May 2025 at the Elk’s Lodge from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $5 or $10 for early entry at 9am.
The venue had its own bus stops, which is serviced by Routes 3, 5 and 7 on North Bay Transit. And the North Bay Train Station and Bus Terminal is a five minute walk from the venue.

The Vancouver Vinyl Record Show will also be held on Sunday, the 25th of May, 2025 from 11am to 4pm at the Heritage Hall. And admission will be $5, cash.
This venue is serviced by Route 003 on Translink via stop numbers 50241 and 59581.

I have waited to post this entry to make sure none of the events in Eastern Canada were canceled due weather and it appears that none have been canceled:
The Vancouver Comic and Toy Show will be held at the PNE Forum on the 5th and 6th of April, 2025.
Tickets to this event can be purchased by clicking here and the venue is serviced by multiple routes on Translink, via bus stops 50951 and 52718.

The Salon National des Collectionneurs will also occur on the 5th and 6th, but at Espace St-Hyacinthe.
The nearest bus stop the to venue is #506, which is serviced by Routes 50 and 70 on the St.Hyacinthe city transit system. And note that this event is predominantly in French.

Back Issues Comicon will be held at the Christ Church Parish Hall on Saturday, the 5th of April, 2025, from 9am to 3pm and admission will be $3.
The nearest bus stop to the venue is 7389 which is serviced by Routes 54, 55 and 62 on Halifax Transit.

The Stratford ComiCon appears to still be on for April 5th, 2025 at the Best Western Plus The Arden Park Hotel from 10am to 3pm.
Admission is $5 or free for kids 12 and under. And Stratford Transit offers on demand services to the venue and the Stratford Via Rail station is only a 3 to 4 minute taxi ride away from this hotel.

The Woodstock Pop Show will be held on Sunday, April 6th, 2025 from 9:30am to 2:30pm at the Woodstock Fairgrounds Auditorium.
Admission will be $5 or free for accompanied kids 12 and under. And the venue is unfortunately not serviced by transit on Sundays but it is a four or five minute taxi ride away from the Via Rail station.

And finally, the Guelph Record Show will occur on Sunday, the 6th of April, 2025 from 10:30am to 4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Admission is $5 or $20 for early entry at 9am. And unfortunately there is no transit service to this venue on Sundays. But the venue is an eight minute taxi ride from the Guelph Go Train and Via Rail station.

Fan Expo Vancouver will be occurring from the 21st to 23rd of February, 2025 at the West Building of the Vancouver Convention Center.
Admission information on this event is available by clicking here. The venue is next to the Vancouver Ferry Terminal and a twelve minute walk away from Waterfront Station, which services the Canada Line and Seabus Terminal.

The Oshawa Comicon will be held on Saturday the 22nd of February, 2025 from 10am to 3pm at YWCA Durham.
Admission is $5 or free for kids 12 and under. The venue is services by multiple route so please use the trip planner on the Durham Region Transit web site.

The Galaxy Records Sarnia S Record Show will be held on Sunday, the 22nd of February 2025 at the Sarnia Moose Lounge from 10am to 4pm.
Admission will be a cash donation to the lounge. And Routes 1 and 2 on Sarnia Transit services this venue from two stops on Confederation Drive, which is a two minute walk away from the venue.

The Peterborough Comicon will be held on Sunday the 23rd of February from 10am to 3pm at the Peterborough Curling Club.
Admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under. Unfortunately, the nearest bus stops to the venue, #1302 and #1600, are a 17 minute walk away. They are serviced by Route 7 on Peterborough Transit.

The first event will be the Waterloo Record Swap & Sale, which will be held this Saturday, the 23rd of November, 2024 at the Royal Canadian Legion from 10am to 4pm.
Admission will be $2 or a donation to the Waterloo Food Bank. And the venue is serviced by multiple stops on either end of Marsland Drive by Grand River Transit.

The second event will be the Aurora Comicon, which will also be held on Saturday, from 10am to 3pm at the Royal Canadian Legion in Aurora.
Admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under. And the nearest bus stops, #1746 and #1758, are an 8 minute walk away at the corner of Industrial and Wellington and are serviced by York Region Transit.

The Burlington Records Show will be hosted by the Burlington Senior Center on Sunday, the 24th of November from 10:30am to 4pm and admission will be $3.
Multiple routes on Burlington Transit service Central Park, which also houses the city’s Central Library, Music Centre and Curling Club.

The Angus Comicon will also occur on Sunday, and will be hosted by the Angus Recreation Center from 10am to 3pm.
Admission will be $5 or free for kids 12 and under. But unfortunately the area is not serviced by public transit.

And finally, the Vancouver Vinyl Record Show will be held at Heritage Hall, also on Sunday, November 24th, 2024, from 11am to 4pm.
Admission will be $5 and the venue is serviced by Bus Route 003 on Translink from bus stop numbers 50242 and 59581.
