Lots of Events This Weekend
There will be four record shows this weekend, one of which will be in Vancouver BC, and three will be held in Ontario, two of which will be in Northern Ontario. And there will be a multitude of comicons/collector events, the majority of which will be in Ontario, with one event in Alberta.
The East Van Vinyl Dig will be held at the Heritage Hall in Vancouver, BC on the evening and night of Friday, September 11th, 2026 from 6pm to 11pm. And admission will be $5.
The nearest bus stops to the venue are bus stop numbers 50241 and 59581, which are service by Route 3 on Translink from the Main Street-Science World Metro Station.

The Ottawa Comicon will be held from Friday, the 11th to Sunday the 13th of September 2026 at the newly renamed EY Centre, now known as the Cohere Center. And tickets vary in price (click here for additional information).
This venue is of course serviced by the Uplands O-Train station on OC Transpo.

The MVC Comic Con will be held on Saturday, September 11th and Sunday, September 12th 2026 at the Mountain View Heritage Center and not only is the event free, but bus service to the venue will be provided free as well from all Mountain View County community libraries, with the exception of Cremona (click here for details)
This event is for anime, comic and gaming enthusiasts.

The Kingston Comicon is a collector’s event held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 560 on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 from 10am to 3pm and admission will range from $10 with kids under 12 getting in for free to $30 VIP at the door, with options to purchase tickets online.
The venue has two bus stops service by Route 1 on Kingston Transit. And please note that vinyl vendors do frequent this event.

Graffiker Alley is a new event for Self-Published Comics, Manga and Zines that will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 at the Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga from 11am to 5pm and admission is free.
The venue is a 10 minute walk west from the Long Branch Go Station and Long Branch Loop on the TTC streetcar system. And it is also serviced by multiple routes on Miway, namely Route 5 and 23 via four bus stops on Dixie Rd (3444 & 3449) and Lakeshore Rd East (0408 & 0443).

The Bowmanville Record & CD Show will be hosted by the Memorial Park Clubhouse on Sunday, the 13th of September, 2026 from 10am to 4pm and admission will be free.
The nearest active bus stop to the venue on Sundays is bus stop number 1499, which is serviced by Route 902 by Durham Region Transit and an 8 minute walk from the venue.

The Burlington Record and CD Sale will be held on Sunday, September 13th, 2026 at the Halton Naval Veterans Association Hall from 10am to 4pm and admission will be free.

And finally, the Peterborough Comicon will be hosted by the Peterborough Curling Club from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, September 13th, 2026 and admission will be $10 at the door or free for kids 12 and under. Please read the note below the map.
There is no public transit to this venue and there appears to be conflicting information on the details of this event online, the advertisement on Facebook claiming it’s still on whilst the links on the official site on Pop Culture Canada and Eventbright saying it’ll be held on January 2nd, 2027. Comicons Only This Weekend
There will be two comicons this weekend, both on Sunday, the 23rd of August 2026:
The Cambridge Comicon will be hosted by the Portuguese Community Centre from 10am to 3pm and admission will be $10 at the door and kids 12 and under get in for free.
This venue is not serviced by public transit.

The West Coast Comicon will be held from 11am to 5pm at the Maritime Labour Centre in Vancouver BC and admission will be $15 at the door with kids 12 and under getting in for free.
The nearest bus stops to this venue are bus stop numbers 50435 and 50496, which are serviced by Routes 4, 7 and 209 on Translink. And half-price admission will be available from 4pm to 5pm.

Four Record Conventions / Three Comicons
Ontario will be the place to be for event this weekend, except for two, which will happen in Edmonton and Vancouver.
The Crystal Ridge Dream Center will host the 2nd Annual Charity Record Show on May 30th, 2026 from 9am to 1pm and admission will be $2.
A On Demand transit service may be available from the Fort Erie Leisureplex on Niagara Transit.

The Huron County Comicon will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at Columbus Club Hall from 11am to 4pm and admission will be free.
There is unfortunately no transit to the area at the time of this event.

The Smiths Fall Comicon will be held at the Smith Falls Memorial Community Center from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, the 30th of May, 2026 and admission will be $10 at the door (or $5 online), with kids under 12 getting in for free.

The Dead Vinyl Society Spring Record G-Sale & DJ Raveyard will be held on both the 30th and 31st of May, 2026, from 11am to 6pm open both days, and entry will be free.

Record Store Day Weekend & More
Saturday, the 18th of April 2026 is of course the day record collectors have been waiting for. But did you know that multiple conventions will also occur this Record Store Day weekend, including several record conventions and a comicon?
Individuals living in the Sudbury, Ontario area will also be able to attend the Sudbury Music & Collectables Show on the same day as Record Store Day, an event that will be hosted by the Northbury Hotel (a.k.a Days Inn) from 10am to 3pm:
General admission will be $5 or $10 for early entry at 9am. And this venue is an 11 minute walk from the Via Rail station, which is also serviced by Routes 3, 4, 10 and 14 on Greater Sudbury Transit; You can use the tunnel under the tracks leading to Riverside Drive and walk down Broadway street to the venue.

The next event is the North Bay Record Show, which will occur on Sunday, April 19th, 2006 from 10am to 3pm at the Elk’s Lodge, which is a hour and forty minute drive away from Sudbury. And admission will also be $5 at the door or $10 for early entry at 9am.
The event has been conveniently plotted out on Google Maps but one should be able to walk to this venue in 15 minutes from the North Bay Train Station & Bus Terminal via a pedestrian tunnel leading to the Northgate Shopping Center.

The Galaxy Windsor Record Show will also be occurring from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, April 19th, 2026 but at the Dominion House. And admission will be a donation to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.

And the one and only comicon event this weekend in Canada, the Rain City Comicon, will be held from 11am to 5pm at the Croatian Cultural Center on Sunday, the 19th of April, 2026. And admission will be free.

Record Store Day is coming up fast, on the 18th. But there are quite a few record conventions, comicons and collector events this weekend for meanwhile:
Central Canada C4 Comic-Con will be a two day event at the Caboto Centre, starting on Friday, the 10th of April 2026 at 4pm, ending at 9pm the following day. And entry is $10 or free for kids 14 and under.

The Spring 2026 edition of the Edmonton Record Fair will also be held on the 11th of April, 2026 at the Northgate Lions Recreation Centre, from 9:30am to 3:30pm. And early admission at 9:30 am will be $10 whilst general admission will be $5 at 11am.

Ottawa Record Fair VII will again be held at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre but on April 11th, 2026 from 10am to 4pm. And admission will be $10 at 10am (early bird) and $5 at 11am (general entry).

This Weekend’s Events
There will be three fandom, collector and comicon events on Saturday, the 14th of March, 2026, one of which is a two day event, and two record conventions in Ontario on Sunday, the 15th of March 2025:
The Brampton ComiCon will be hosted at the Bramalea Lions Hall Brampton from 10 am to 3 pm this Saturday and admission will be $5 and free for kids 12 and under.

The Cobourg Record Show will be held on Sunday, March 15th, 2026 at the Order of Odd Fellows Hall from 11am to 4pm and admission will be a voluntary donation.
