Saturday, the 18th of April 2026 is of course the day record collectors have been waiting for. But did you know that multiple conventions will also occur this Record Store Day weekend, including several record conventions and a comicon?

Individuals living in the Sudbury, Ontario area will also be able to attend the Sudbury Music & Collectables Show on the same day as Record Store Day, an event that will be hosted by the Northbury Hotel (a.k.a Days Inn) from 10am to 3pm:

General admission will be $5 or $10 for early entry at 9am. And this venue is an 11 minute walk from the Via Rail station, which is also serviced by Routes 3, 4, 10 and 14 on Greater Sudbury Transit; You can use the tunnel under the tracks leading to Riverside Drive and walk down Broadway street to the venue.

The next event is the North Bay Record Show, which will occur on Sunday, April 19th, 2006 from 10am to 3pm at the Elk’s Lodge, which is a hour and forty minute drive away from Sudbury. And admission will also be $5 at the door or $10 for early entry at 9am.

The event has been conveniently plotted out on Google Maps but one should be able to walk to this venue in 15 minutes from the North Bay Train Station & Bus Terminal via a pedestrian tunnel leading to the Northgate Shopping Center.

The Galaxy Windsor Record Show will also be occurring from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, April 19th, 2026 but at the Dominion House. And admission will be a donation to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.
