Not All Is Well At Canada Post

As you may know, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers went on strike last Thursday and this will cause delays in shipping.

At risk are many rural post offices, more frequent postage rate changes and the loss of home delivery for four million addresses, which will be converted to community post office boxes. And unfortunately, additional investments to provide additional services at our post offices were not implemented because Canada Post’s debt reached an all time high.

Updates on negotiations will be available by clicking here. But note that some retailers will still offer local deliveries or free pick-ups so don’t forget to consult their web sites.
