Just thought I’d mention that Turner Classic Movies are offering Facebook members 25% off purchases at their shop. Just click on the 25% tab on the right of the main site and follow the instructions.
This company offers soundtracks on CD and classic films on DVD and blu-ray, some of which are very rare and unavailable elsewhere. And BTW, if you happen to miss the Facebook offer or have no Facebook account, you can also subscribe to their newsletter and get 10% off.
Spend $100 or more at Shop.ca on New Years Day and get two Cineplex movie tickets for free.
Seriously, before you go out and wait in line for hours to get into a crowded electronics superstore, look online for deals. You could find the very product you’re looking for, for the same price or less.
There are some pretty decent deals going on at Amazon.ca, Best Buy Canada, chapters.indigo.ca
, Dell Canada, Future Shop, iTunes
, Kobo Books
, iNetVideo Canada (Click Here to shop iNetVideo.ca Now!
), Newegg.ca
, Sears.ca
, Shop.ca, Sony Canada (Sony Boxing Week Blowout Deals! Save up to $700. Limited time & while supplies last.
), The Source and Tigerdirect.ca
.
Best Buy Canada and Future Shop shoppers did encounter some glitches last night but the sites say these issues have been dealt with.
You’ll notice that most retailers are starting their boxing day sales as early as 8pm tonight, like Best Buy, Future Shop and The Source. But some have already started offering Boxing Week specials like iTunes and Amazon.ca
, where you can find deep discounts on music and film.
I just took advantage of this sale to upgrade my X-Men collection to blu-ray by placing an order for the X-Men Trilogy and X-Men: First Class
. It was way too tempting.
Also tempting are those $50 iTunes gift cards that are being offered for $39 at Best Buy Canada and Future Shop stores, as part of their boxing day sales, though I’m still weighing my options when it comes to a streaming player for my television.
BTW, if you’re looking for gift cards, my guide is online and will be expanded shortly.
